This tool streamlines the creation of music cue sheets for film and television productions. It imports data from various sources, cleans tracks by removing invisible cuts, and automatically populates metadata from partner libraries. The final CSV and Excel lists are fully customizable.
The tools make it easy to import a sequence from any major editing software. It can handle EDL, XML, and FCPXML files, making it easy to transfer timecode-relevant cue data from Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut X, and DaVinci Resolve. An experimental option for AAF files is also available to import track names.
Mastering a show in Pro Tools? This tool is able to import a Session Info as text files .txt, making it easy to transfer timecode and track informations directly from Avid Pro Tools.
The tool is also capable of reading EXIF metadata stored within audio files. A variety of formats can be uploaded and scanned, including MP3, WAV, AIF, AIFF, M4A, OGG, FLAC, WMA, AAC, APE, and OPUS files. This enables to easier search for metadata that might originate from a third party or an music library that is not connected to our tool yet.
Already started a cue sheet? No problem, it can easily be loaded into the Cue Sheet Manager and merged with other sources if it follows our column rules.
By partnering with over 20 production music libraries, the tool is able to automatically pull metadata for tracks from these libraries. The metadata contains not only the track name and artist but also details about the label, publisher, composer details, and shares. Please note that the available metadata depends on the library.
